It is conducted to purify the space, remove negative energies, and invoke divine blessings for peace, prosperity, and harmony in the household

Priest to find the most suitable Muhurtham (auspicious time) based on Vastu Shastra and family Nakshatra.
Before the ceremony, the house must be cleaned thoroughly and decorated with flowers, mango leaves, and kolam (rangoli).
The ceremony begins with Lord Ganesha’s pooja to remove all obstacles and bring prosperity.
A Kalasham filled with water, coins, turmeric, and mango leaves is placed as a symbol of divine presence.
Vastu Purusha, Dikpalakas (guardians of directions), and the five elements (Pancha Bhootas) are invoked.
The priest performs Homam (sacred fire ritual) using ghee, herbs, and rice while chanting Vedic mantras.
The Navagrahas (nine planets) are worshipped to ensure balance, prosperity, and peace in the household.
The lady of the house, carrying a Kalasham with water and coconut, steps into the home first with her right foot.
