Nischayathartham (Engagement Ceremony) is a sacred pre-marriage ritual that signifies the official confirmation of marriage between two families.
This ceremony is performed to seek divine blessings and mark the union of the bride and groom as destined by fate.

The ceremony begins with Ganapathi Pooja to remove all obstacles.
The Vadhyar (Priest) then performs Panchangam Shastra to fix the most auspicious Muhurtham for the wedding.
Rituals such as Kankanam (tying of holy thread), exchange of gifts, and offering of Thamboolam are conducted to symbolize the sacred commitment and acceptance between both families.

The Nischayathartham ceremony strengthens family bonds and invokes the blessings of Lord Ganesha, family deities, and ancestors for a joyful and harmonious marriage.
